| If your kid already plays ECNL, I bet other ECNL/GA/MLSNext teams would still be willing to take a look. It isn’t even the end of May yet. Just email (or have your kid email depending on the age) the TD of the club and ask if it is too late. This tryout season feels like a big free-for-all, so you never know. |
For first year of ECNL I would not panic yet. |
Ditto! |
| waiting on some Arlington and Alexandria players. |
| A brief Email to say the tryout process is delayed would be appreciated...meanwhile you have players reaching out to other clubs because they feel the writing is on the wall… They may be shooting themselves in the foot but the way they’ve handled this. |
I agree. The blatant lack of common courtesy is not sitting well. Totally bananas. |
Waiting on SYC players? |
09SYC only a few would make the team. |
Is the parent or child/player posting this? Because it sounds like the parent is really confused on his/her role here if it was not the child/player's post. Who the first person in the sentence is can be quite a trip for soccer parents. |
Dumb comment. |
You're not really a sports fan are you? People talk about teams as if they are on them all the time. If you're not a fan as a parent and not taking an interest in your child's progress, you're not doing your job. |
| Crickets. |
Spot on. |
| So has anyone from McLean 09 Green heard yet? I can understand the lower team not hearing but Green parents have been quiet. |
Again, boys or girls? Why does everybody assume it’s the same timeline? Do you mean the green team for next year or the ecnl team for next year? You guys are all amateurs at this. Good grief. |
