| It’s mind boggling that one man was able to do so much harm in modern-day America. The GOP ha a become a truly scary entity now. |
| May he burn in hell. The GOP's descent into madness began with him. |
| The world is just a little bit better now that he’s dead. |
Do you also celebrate the deaths of gay people? |

He changed the world...for the worse. He was the worst kind of abusive coward, the kind that would play the humor card when called to the carpet (I was just kidding.)
I don't care how much money he donated to charity...it is a drop in the karmic bucket compared to the hate and division he sowed with his big mouth. I agree with the above PP. If I could erase his caustic legacy, I would. |

No one’s going to mention his going to the Dominican Republican, a country noted for its sex tourism, with two dozen Viagra pills?
Bonus: the guy who brought it up to Rush on air got cut off quick, per Rushie’s cowardice: https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2011/6/7/982936/- |
Thank you. I've been sitting on this comment all week. He was an absolutely terribly person, and all his tax write offs to charity do not in any way change that. The world is a better place today without this vile, hateful man. |
Who knows what skeletons are in that disgusting closet. |
| I'm so glad that an honest discussion of that monster can now take place. |

We've had multiple posts praising Limbaugh's words. When you buy the pig, you also buy the squeal and the tail.
Rush Limbaugh, in his own words, on gay people: "When a gay person turns his back on you, it is anything but an insult; it’s an invitation." Regarding his "AIDS Update" recurring show segment: "Gays deserved their fate," and “The AIDS update is meant to offend them. Damn right.” Arguing against federal funding to combat the AIDS medical epidemic: "There was never any evidence that it was spreading to the heterosexual community, not sexually anyway, and if you said that, then you were guilty of a hate crime and profiling and discrimination, and all of that.” |
- An opiod addict who lambasted other people for not pulling themselves up by their bootstraps, including those with addiction and mental helath issues - A sex tourist to a country known for sexual tourism with children - A man who mocked Michael J Fox for the motor movements of his disease All you who are lauding him should be covered in shame. |

At the time it was heavily implied that the Dominican Republic’s sex tourism involved children, though I can’t bring myself to go searching that too deeply. It would certainly fit with the GOP’s Q projection. |
