I’m sure they’re right up there with golf pros in the priority list. The real question is what will happen to pools that depend on outsourced Eastern European guards

I’m not sure what you mean? I’m thinking with the possibility of performing rescue procedures guards might get priority towards summer.

Being a lifeguard is probably one of the safest covid jobs. You are outside and distanced from everyone.

Not the original poster but I think that they were implying that both professions are outdoors where you are not near other people, making them very low risk.

My kids a lifeguard. She does not need to be vaccinated. That’s hilarious. You all realize these kids hung out together all summer last year OUTSIDE the pool gates? I think they are good to lifeguard the same this year. It was ridiculous that any of us had to wear masks outside while at the pool.
