Not a stupid question. Everything is weird this year.

The concert that’s normally the night before is tonight as a replacement for the inaugural balls. Not sure the first and second couples will be dressed formally, but that would be the opportunity.

The Smithsonian has a collection of the First Lady Inauguration dresses on display. I hope she wears one tonight. Trump and Covid have stolen a lot from this.

Usually like Jill's clothes. Don't care for the sparkles on her coat. Not the first First Lady outfit that I don't care for. I think these "special designers" go out of their way to do something "extra" when simple is better. Kamala's outfit is lovely. Michelle's is good--until you see the full length. If Melania had worn this, you would be blowing up this forum.
Looks like Jill's neckline is sheer--not so good on a day like today in this cold weather.

I greatly respect Michelle's intellect and opinions, but didn't like her clothes at all. I feel Jill is going to be more my style!

I agree. I think she looks absolutely lovely. The coat is a great color, understated but definitely attractive. It makes a nice change from all the standard fare that others have on. I love that her gloves match, just as Harris's do.

DP here. She is very feminine, pretty and gracious.

I saw an old picture of them from the 80s and was actually shocked how much she looked like Princess Di. She had a very fresh, pretty look.
