No please no.

Can't a name ending in -ie only be the nickname? Like Jackie - for Jacqueline.

+1

Or, if OP is set on having a name that ends with that sound, choose something that is a real proper name, like Audrey, Emily, Lucy, Amy/Aimee, Lily, Felicity, Ruby, Zoe, etc.

Clover
Bossy
Brownie
Spot
Buttercup
Moomoo

All these are in the same genre, OP.

Poor names. Try again.

Per Behind the Name Elsie is a diminutive of Elizabeth https://www.behindthename.com/name/elsie

A bit close to Elsa for me but still a very cute name.

I would *never* have thought of cows.

People on this board can be so nasty, and elitist.

I think both are a little "cute,' I prefer Elise to Elsie though and my fingers keep trying to correct Elsie to Elise.

I do love the name Daisy but I actually think it's getting a little overused, Elsie or Elise might end up being more timeless. I feel like I know so many little Elle or Ellies thought so that would give me pause. If it were me I would really consider going with June, such a sweet name.
