You met George Harrison? He’s my favorite person ever! How did you meet him? What was it like?

It was donkey’s years ago when I was a teenager. I was working at a hotel in Henley, a small town in the uk where he lived. I walked into the restaurant to talk to the manager and she was talking to him, and she introduced me. He was wearing a large fur coat. He said hi and so did I, thats was about it. I was dumbstruck so it was brief.

I touched Kelly McGillis's elbow at a charity event once -- on a dare.

She's really tall.

I saw Stacey Dash from Clueless at the HUD building. She was going to meet with Ben Carson lol.

When I worked at a now closed bookstore in DC I did a lot of events and met, and even assisted, a lot of famous people. Here are the ones of the top of my head:

Al Gore- he was wonderfully pleasant and quite handsome.
Goldie Hawn- a diva with a lot of demands including a bouquet of peonies on the table and herbal tea, but still nice.
Jamie Lee Curtis- she was awesome. So low maintenance and friendly.
John Waters- a nutjob in a good way. Very nice.
Matt Dillon- he wasn't there for an event. Just came in to wander around and ended up buying a bunch of books. Handsome, killer smile, a flirt.

I have to ask … were you in economy? I can't imagine Hulk Hogan being comfortable in those tiny seats with no leg room!!!

You know, I've been trying to remember since I posted this...and I can't. It was quite a long time ago...but I used to travel a lot and sometimes get bumped up to first class, so I'm guessing it had to have been first class. What I do remember was that he was putting something into an overhead bin, and I swear his bicep was the size of my head.
That is so cool. Thank you for responding!

Was it a black fur coat? I’m something of an obsessive Beatles (and particularly George Harrison) fan, so I think I know the coat you’re talking about. Anyway, you’re very lucky, even if it was extremely brief.

This is the coat I’m thinking of: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/814096070112441825/
