S/O — who is the most famous person you’ve met?

Most significantly though, I actually grew up in San Francisco and Pelosi was the class mom for my class at The Convent School in maybe fourth or fifth grade. She was also our neighbor so she’s probably the most famous person I’ve had significant content with but it was in a completely different role than her current one.

I saw Pelosi at a high school football game in Houston once. She really is everywhere.
Other than her, I met Michael J Fox at an advocacy event and checked out Britney Spears when I was working at Whole Foods.

Why? That would’ve been a great story!

He said in a loud voice - I am not leaving here today until everyone who wants my autograph gets it..... and he kept his word.

15 years later I have a clear memory of running into him at the Marriot near LAX. He opened his trunk and was handing out swag to the valets. I loved watching him interact with others.

Easy to meet Lasorda at Dodgertown. Also was great to sit right next to the players while watching spring training games. I'm not a Dodger fan but enjoyed meeting some of my favorite Orioles in VB at spring training.

I did some work with Joe Biden when he was a senator and could not have liked him more. Super friendly, kind, personable.

I hate his politics but I must say Paul Ryan was very kind and gracious when I met him.

Once was flying out of BWI at the same time Jon and Kate Gosselin and there brood were there filming an episode. Was at the gate next to them. Neither could have been any unfriendlier, although that’s perhaps not too surprising.

What do you mean?

Kenneth Branagh is great, he's done so many amazing productions & yet, everyone seems to remember him just for playing Prof. Lockhart in Harry Potter.

I had no idea that he directed a Thor movie until I saw the credits, a Marvel movie is HUGE.

He definitely doesn't get the credit he deserves.

Theater and Shakespeare are his real strengths, movie acting less so. One thing that doesn’t necessarily come across is that he is hilarious in person.

Exactly!
I know him for his Hamlet and King Henry V, I also remember his very famous ex-wife.

He was fantastic in Murder on the Orient Express in 2017... it really highlighted his impeccable comedic timing.

PP, I hope you're still here. I LOVE the Graham Norton Show. Did you speak? What was he like?

I met a lot of Nats baseball players at spring training over the years. The one I spent three hours with was Lucas Giolito (since traded to the ChiSoX). Also had a 15 min conversation with Anthony Rendon before he was famous.

Non-sports? I Met John Glenn in 1984, and sat next to Robin Williams on an airplane in 1992.

Susan Lucci. At the time she was the most famous soap opera star in the 80s and she was beautiful and very gracious.
