For me, it would probably be Bill Clinton. I grew up in Chappaqua and met him briefly outside a diner. He signed a copy of the NYTimes I had.

I also had a *very* brief interaction with Paul McCartney when he called out a sign I made for one of his concerts, but I don’t know if it counts. He read my sign aloud and said “very cool!” As a massive Beatles fan, it was a real thrill, though.

What about you?

Is that the diner on 117? Love that place.

Whoopi Goldberg bumped into me in a book aisle and I gave her a sour look. She said “Sorry! Sorry!” in a way that made me laugh.

I’m a celebrity nanny. I’ve worked for and met so many famous people. Usually I’m not impressed or star struck with actors/musicians and don’t care about celebs, unless it’s an athlete for a sport I like to watch. Probably the most ridiculous story I have is that time we flew on Sting’s private jet from London to their home in the south of France for a party, with 15 other huge celebs including Aretha Franklin and Elton John. But I do not care unless it’s a baseball star! Working for celebs is harder than regular families and you earn every penny.

It was outside Chappaqua Restaurant and Cafe. I guess it doesn’t exist anymore (I had to look it up b/c I haven’t lived there in over a decade).

I’m surprised to see Pizza Station still exists! We used to love that place.

George Clinton (from George Clinton and the P funk All Stars); gave him a ride from the airport to a show.

When i was an intern a long time ago, I ran into Joe Biden on the little train that goes between the Capitol and the Senate office buildings a few times. He was always really nice and would chat, ask questions about where i went to school, how i liked DC, etc. Really nice and friendly, but not in a creepy way at all.

Elena Kagan was a law school professor.

Hung out at a bar in Boston with George Wendt (Norm) from Cheers (this was well after Cheers had ended).

When I was a kid, I rode in the same boat as McLean Stephenson on the It's a Small World ride at Disneyland.

I used to see him at the bike store just down the street from the Mrs. Doubtfire house. I wanted to go and ask him if everytime he drove past he thought to himself - there is the Mrs. Doubtfire house.
