Oh but, to add: We used to go to Mt. Kisco all the time. I have really good memories of the Sam Goody on S Moger Ave, where I used to buy CDs with my allowance. Good times!

Barack Obama, Hillary & Bill Clinton, Kevin Spacey, and Ginnifer Goodwin. In DC, I suspect the former two are a bigger deal...rest of the world, the latter two.

It’s DC, so a lot of politicians. Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi and a bunch of Senators. A lot of Presidents of other countries.

George Harrison, Kenneth Branagh a distant second. The latter was a friend before he became famous.

Ted Kennedy.

Met Mike Pence on New Years Eve in our restaurant in Georgetown. Nobody recognized him.
I was going to say Dean Kamen and Gil Bellows until I remembered Pence.

Frank Zappa. He was a neighbor and not famous yet. I was 5. My mom told me not to talk to him because he was a "hippie". I realized many years later who that "hippie" was.

Completely forgot Ovechkin (met him several times, same with Kamen) and Gabrielle Union.
I guess Pence is still the winner.

Paul Newman smiled at me in a deli; I was in an elevator with Diane Keaton - and told her I liked her hat, without realizing who she was; I exchanged greetings with Mandy Patinkin when I lived in the same apartment building.
