BU 2004 and Celtic 2005 did pretty well in this little, no name tournament. 2004s beat Philly SC and tied Maryland United. Don't let the facts get in the way of what you're spinning. At least you dropped the fake DD, friends, neighbors, and family act. So that's a start.

Or I was right as rain...

oh man I know it's cool and kinda cloudy but that Burns gotta hurt...Don't let facts get in your way.

Right about what, that BU and BC did OK in that tournament? Because they did just fine. You are a joke.

I stated facts, you said my facts were wrong, they were in fact right. They are an average NL team as I said. unable to score against World Class, and destroyed vs Philly SC. You all keep winning my arguments for me, I do appreciate that fact.

One of the B-more posters hit upon a good point in where their practices may be in relationship to where the families live and where they tend to draw players from. Sounds like a potential similar issue that VDA has tried to overcome with having practice schedules intended to be convenient for both clubs.

Not good for pipeline...they make a living off stealing celtic/union players

Actually that's incorrect. 2004 BU beat Philly SC and there are other stats/games posted in this thread that prove your statements to be incorrect. Not to mention your impersonation of someone else, which is a complete lie.

You are a joke.

Bwahaha, Union Dudes owned you on every response in the most eloquent way possible. Pretty cool to see someone destroy a troll like you without calling you names like a middle schooler. Nice work bro.

3. Friendlies are not just practice games.

They are games that don't count. Yes. However, they have meaning. They let you know where your teams stands. Weaknesses and strengths. They are played at 100 percent speed with 100 percent effort. If not, they were never elite kids in the first place.

MD United and Bethesda 04’s are in 9th and 12th place respectively in their ECNL division. Please don’t hold them or your close score lines against them as a measure of excellence. NoVA ECNL is predominately in the bottom half of their ECNL division and DMV MD ECNL teams are as well. 1-0, 0-0 games against each other displays the over priced mediocrity.

1. NE ECNL only played 2 games of their season. Your rankings are silly
2. FCV 04, the #1 team in MA DA, tied Bethesda and Maryland United when both teams just came off their HS season and had yet to play a season game. Think about that.
3. So, a #1 DA team couldn't score against a #9 and #12 team (As you say) that just reunited. Good to know

Love the friendlies (also known as SCRIMMAGES) as a measurement tool. Regardless, your shorelines are wrong.

So we are all clear here, the MA ECNL powerhouses want to consider scrimmages a good piece of data for determining team strength but NOT consider regular season games and showcases? LOL. I literally laughed out loud typing that.

Let's cut to the chase here. The MA ECNL doesn't want FCV and Arlingotn because they don't want to lose any more games. Period. They are only winning about 10-25% of their games now. What will happen when they have to play Charlotte and Courage? And then what would happen if they had to add FCV and Arlington to their schedules.

THAT IS WHY FCV AND ARLINGTON ARE NOT IN THE ECNL. Period.

Everyone reading this thread know that "BU parent" has proven to be a fraud with his/her inability to keep their story straight. Beyond the headline, there's no news in this thread which has been overtaken by ECNL trolls at this point.

I am smiling. Why? Because I am not worried about my DD's situation or her team or what league is better. You don't sound satisfied.

Maybe you need to read what you posted. Not only is it untrue, it doesn't make sense. You sound calmer now. Good.

Who really cares?!? All these teams are now allowed and will play each other in tournaments unlike the past couple of years. MD United vs FCV at older ages should be great to watch.

Jeff Cup should be really fun moving forward. Expect to fly out to California or Dallas at least one more time per year...

As much as you like it or hate it, YouthSoccerRankings.us will now even be more accurate thanks to cross play tournaments with GA and ECNL. NBC Sports bought YSR last year.

The next big Domino to fall is if anyone can make a run at GotSoccer.com.

Let’s just hope the management at GA doesn’t make the same bad decisions that the DA did.

All of this. It will become evident that in short order the quality of the team will matter more than the league.
