Devastating is not having food on the table or a home to live in or losing a loved one, it’s not devastating to not see your friends for a few weeks, especially at this age. Hell, the 4 year old couldn’t even remember half the kids in the school photo taken a few weeks ago.
Thank you! I totally agree, and this is exactly the attitude I’m striving to have with my kids as well.
