Another Democrat here. The only Republican I've ever voted for was Hogan, and I did so proudly.
He has been phenomenal. He just turned FedEx field into a massive testing site, run with the Maryland Army National Guard. |
| Why was Hogan on TV this morning defending Trump? What a putz. |
Possibly to ensure that Trump doesn’t hate on Maryland when divvying out resources. Dear Leader sucks like that. Yet another anti-Republican who feels like Hogan is doing a stellar job right now
|
| Can someone summarize his 7pm press conference please? |
| He needs to lock down Maryland. The spread is completely out of control, and just whining about people ignoring the group limits isn’t doing anything, he needs to take action. |
Hogan has done well in this but his administration wildly corrupt and there is a lot of self-dealing going on that only people dealing with his cronies are aware of. It just drives me nuts that people think he is so fantastic. -wife of a career state employee |
| Wait, in Maryland isn’t “career state employee” kind of synonymous with “corrupt”? |
No it means not hired by a political person like a governor. I.e. social workers, it people, etc. Get a clue. |
We are for all purposes locked down. You must not live here. |
|
What's this about Hogan not allowing hazard pay for essential public employees
And why doesn't elrich override that. I thought he was a socialist. |
Or, more accurately, he's supplying the Maryland National Guard to help with setting up the Prince George's County Health Department's future testing site at Fed Ex field. An appropriate action for the governor to take. He's not been bad in the coronavirus crisis, but let's not kid ourselves about his overall phenomenalness. |
| I heard he's speaking live, but I can't find a damn thing on Fb or youtube |
|
|
What did he say just now?
- Another Dem who continues to be super impressed by him |
| non-essential businesses closed att 5pm, police will enforce limits on public gatherings more harshly going forward |
