ask LMVSC last season I heard try outs was a ghost town. |
Hello SYC! Keep spreading your negative hate. Worry about you. |
| how was turn out for FCV? |
it rhymes with "hero" |
Kilo? Rio? wait I got this |
For 08s, or across all groups? Would expect few in the older ages. Hard to break in and no one really knows where club will be based in future. But at 08 that sounds like a problem. |
How hard is it to break in if people don't show up? |
Numbers at FCV older ages are low because the players themselves know there are only a few players capable of making the teams at STJFCV and displacing current players. Sorry if you don't like that answer but it is the truth. |
Really? There are lots of talented kids out there who could make the team. |
Not at 05 and above. Can't speak below that, but those older teams are hard to make. |
SMH. Get over yourself. Yes there are they just like where they are better. Wow, just wow if you really believe that 05 and above FCV has THE 18 BEST PLAYERS AT EVERY AGE GROUP in the DMV!! Let that sink in. |
If you say so...

Older age groups will attract players because the coaches promise those kids not yet ready the chance to train with the DA in addition to their regular NPL team.
It’s offered to EVERY player, but is a lure to attract girls to their B teams. Sadly for those families t’s effective. |
| ^^^There are only a select few girls from the B team who practice with the DA-they don’t let every B team player do so...and even fewer are dual rostered on the DA team as PT players. Not sure what you are referring to.. |
Other poster was referring to the DP/PT spots and FCVs marketing tactics on the NPL teams to try to attain and retain girls on the bubble / potential bubble of the DA team. They use the lure of DA to keep them from going to another DA program or an ECNL program. |
