She really is terrible, and the character is also terribly annoying. It's really odd, because Annette O'Toole has been fine in other shows. It looks like she's not in the third season as much, though.

Not much, but does make FaceTime appearances. Even more annoying, if that's possible.

I will say I actually disliked this season less than the last one. I found the characters more appealing this time around, other than Hope, and the young couple I always FF'd through.

The Lily storyline was moving.


^^ as much as the Charmaine and Mel storylines were beyond ridiculous. Sure, so plausible a hairdresser pregnant with someone else's twins attracts a gazillionare.

The Charmaine story is so bad. She went from being so sick with morning sickness and refusing to go to the hospital b/c of her fear of hospitals to this? I almost forgot she was pregnant with twins or thought so much time went by that she already had them.

Annette O'Toole is 69 and I thought they were within a few years of each other, not more than a decade apart.

I liked her on Longmire, too.

Muriel has turned into the most interesting and least annoying character. I feel like something is up with her that hasn't been revealed yet.

I like the show and I thought this season was the best. I agree that the never ending dramatic quasi breakup conversations between Mel and Jack are silly and makes them seem immature. They could give Ricky & Lizzie something a little more interesting to do. I think Brady got a hell of a lot more interesting this season. I also like Brie.

Mel’s pregnancy story is just beyond believable and so trashy. I’m completely baffled by such a level headed character making such a ridiculous series of decisions..

So tiring listening to mel and jack talk about their feelings and relationship over and over and over again.

Not really sure why they decided to have such an involved, heavy storyline (lily) for a bunch of minor characters. Was tara even a character?

I love the way jack’s sister came out of nowhere? I thought he told some tragic family story about how he had nobody in a previous season?

Producers are def dumping the oldsters and bringing in the young, kissing types. Glad they realized nobody wanted to watch doc and hope kissing.
