It wasn’t that bad. I enjoyed it more than the star-studded Morning Show on Apple+ |
It’s a cross between a Hallmark movie and Northern Exposure. I loved it! |
I like it, but assumed it was supposed to be bad. |
I loved the soundtrack and scenery. The rest was about what I expected for a Robyn Carr book. |
I loved it! |
Me too. I don’t need every show to be high art. Sometimes I just want mind candy. |
Good description! Like a PP mentioned, I love the naturally aging faces. It makes you realize how little you actually see of that. |
I'm on episode 2-- I LOVE IT. |
How can you even compare the two! Morning Show is in a totally different league - a way better league. |
I watched it and the first few episodes were pretty bad but it got better. Or maybe I just surrendered to its silliness. |
Depends on your expectations. I expected a lot from the Morning Show and was disappointed. I expected nothing from Virgin River and was mildly pleasantly surprised. |
When Calls the Heart is much better if you’re going for junk TV |
It was perfect Christmas—> New Years binge watching. Mindless and sweet. It was 7th heaven without the religion. |
The lead guy looks just like Zack Braff. |
I stupidly watched 6 episodes of it. Its so bad and the pot growers angle is so dumb. Mel is the worst, she has such resting bitch face. She delivers a breech baby in 2 pushes in episode 5, then the woman is sitting and kissing her 1 month old baby. So dumb. |
