Westland is not over capacity. It’s under. And MCPS is terrible with forecasting class sizes. Everyone should be able to agree with that. |

Has either group talked about putting up someone to run for BOE? There's a spot opening up next year due to retirement. That seems like a good way for democracy to work -- getting a person elected who represents your interests. |

They have been terrible at it for many years and still go by the same models that don't take into account the massive amounts of Illegal Immigrants that flock to MC because we are a sanctuary county. |
But the students who used to go to Westland and now go to Silver Creek have parents who don't want their kids at Westland because of how long the bus ride is for them. Which means your concept, which makes you feel good about yourself, does not match what historical facts tell us about drawing boundaries among those schools. |

They were probably working their second or third job. Many people do that just to get a roof over their kids' heads and some food on the table Look up the working poor and even homeless in America. It is a huge issue. Why don't you research it a bit instead of shopping at Westfield? |

"Involved" in what? Booing, heckling, and jeering? People at the White Oak MS meeting apparently behaved like responsible adults, which is more than can be said for the people at the Julius West MS meeting. |
