it's happening! |
As the President called the whistleblower a spy and a leaker yesterday, here’s Chuck Grassley:
"I’m going to believe he’s a whistleblower until I hear some lawyer explain why he isn’t...I’m not going to question whether or not they’re a whistleblower, I’m interested in what they’re telling me.” |
Republicans continue to believe that improper server use is the worst crime ever. ![]() |
They don’t have/make time to spend time with constituents. They’re too busy fundraising. Get money out of politics. |
Agree. I've always found it so strange that he tells that snake story at his rallies and his voters eat it up. It's something like a person picks up a snake, the snake bites the person, the person is shocked to be bitten, and the snake says, "You knew I was a snake when you picked me up!" What are his cheering supporters thinking?? He's warning them that he will bite them! |
Apparently, Paul Ryan joined the Fox board several months ago and told Fox that Trump won't last and they need to develop a post-Trump strategy. Per Gabriel Sherman's reporting. |
Gerrymanders don't matter in the Senate. The primary concern is real, but if it looks like they'd just lose in the general, it should be a little less of a consideration. |
Establishment Republicans have been afraid of their shadows since the tea party took over the party in 2010. Trump's demagogue appeals to the fears and prejudices of his base have made it worse. Previously establishment Republicans were protected because the party money and the major Republican interest groups would always back them against a populist challenger, but now a lot of the major interest groups also, have been taken over by the lunatic fringe, so establishment Republicans can't count on their support. |
The lock-her-upers must be losing their st-t over this! |
Except they're not, because they never cared about the servers - they just hated Hillary |
Jared and Ivanka's private server has never bothered them! |
Nor Trump's use of an unsecure phone that everyone has been spying on from downtown DC since Jan 20, 2017. |
Senators are waiting for the actual transcript of the phone call
That clearly shows what Trump did is wrong Once that hits the media Trump is done |
Interesting that Grassley wrote this on July 30.

The summary of the phone call we already have is sufficient to show Trump's abuse of office. They want to see if there's a more complete version because, if so, that's obstruction of justice. |
