There's really no definitive way to measure it, is there? I'm sure the study you cited could be debunked by another study.


They weren't citing another study - someone looked at the data, and it in no way supported that unmarried women are happier. The author who said that has actually withdrawn that claim - the media totally botched the reporting.

So yes, married women are happiest, but it looks like for every category, having kids doesn't help!

but women who are married with kids are still happier than every other category except married without kids

Are you referring to the twitter link? The posting by the Inst of Family Studies, which is conservative and right leaning...and has a very traditional view of family.
