I would say they have their priorities right... |
| Other than adderall what really helps with inattentive adhd? I’m on adderall but would like to get off of it. I build up a tolerance so fast and it’s impacting my memory and word recall. |
I *kind* of have FOMO, but then when I do go out and do something it's never as fun as I imagine it to be. Kind of like "why am I here?" Then when I get back home to my comfy abode I'm so glad. |
Thank you
will heed your advice

OMG, me too! The most exciting thing I do is grocery shop on the weekends. But then I can't wait to get home and veg out, watch tv, read, etc... And I like it this way, going out just tires me out, maybe b/c I'm lazy. |
| I know all of us prefer to hang out at home in our jammies, but you sound like a group I would definitely make the effort to meet for drinks! My people! |
Haha, I’m the same! I blame it on having kids, that seems to satisfy them. |
Exercise, sleep and try going off gluten. |

Any lights on when u sleep?
How is your breathing? You breathe from your diaphragm or do you move your chest instead (vs stomach)? Look into a book called the oxygen advantage. It focuses on high altitude training and how co2 affects the levels of oxygen going to organs. Is it worse during the winter? If so maybe vitamin d may help. Get your sugar tested. If you are diabetic to or prediabetic your cells are starving. Which can lead to exhaustion. Look into depression. |
OMG - this is DH's family to a "T". Going away on vacation (vacation from what? nothing??) with them is hell for me, because they just sit there the whole time. GAH! My family goes for walks, enjoys talking to each other, enjoys including everyone, total extroverts and totally outgoing and on the go. I recently realized DH has rubbed off on me, like I gave up or something

This. I skimmed this thread pretty quickly, but many of the posters just seem to have a normal level of tiredness after a day of full-time work and family. Isn't better to deal with it by watching some TV and lowering your standards of 'productivity' than to get all pumped up on stimulants? |
| intrigued by all the proudful laziness here. Has it occurred to you folks that others are carrying your weight? Coworkers especially - many of you seem to think you do fine at work and just veg out at home. Based on what, not getting fired yet? My bet is your coworkers have marked you, and/or spouses too. Once upon a time the tigers and bears would have weened you out of the species, and while that doesn't happen so much anymore, evolution and karma have a way of still doing that. Your lives are not complete yet, I wouldn't be so certain there isn't a downside to sloth. |
STFU |
| I’m not lazy, I’m a sea cow. I live in the ocean |
Guess it sucks for you and them. ::shrug:: |
