It's now easier to perform an abortion in the state of New York than to legally apply a tattoo.

Um, the abortion rate in the US has plummeted to its lowest level since Roe v. Wade. So maybe find something else to blame for infertility. You sound like a great scientist, so I’m sure you can do it.

You think women don’t die due to pregnancy? Trash. MAGA white trash.

1) more people are fleeing NY than moving in.

2) being aborted is not a "better outcome" if you happen to be the one getting aborted.

Note that the PP said her own health and life has innate value.

Exactly. Malignant narcissism.

NP

For a woman to suggest that her own life does, indeed, have some innate value on its own -- this is malignant narcissism?

She didn't say "some," and she didn't mention the importance of her children's or a growing baby's innate health and life.

So what? You’re deeply illogical. If something isn’t couched to fit your delicate sensibilities, you distort and deflect from objective reality.

hmmm...ok

Sepsis.
Are you an idiot?

Um, what percentage of pregnancies are terminated because the fetus caused sepsis?

I never even heard of a fetus causing sepsis. How does that happen?

AGAIN, ASK MRS. RICK SANTORUM.

See pp, it even happens to conservatives! Sigh.

https://www.sepsis.org/sepsis-and/pregnancy-and-childbirth/
"Between
2011 and 2013 infection or sepsis caused 12.7% of pregnancy-related deaths in the United States. Pregnancy-associated sepsis requires early detection, accurate diagnosis, and aggressive treatment. In fact, a new study published in October 2013 reported that “Sepsis is currently the leading cause of direct maternal death in the United Kingdom.”

And in her case they attempted surgery, sepsis occurred, and they induced labor.

You don't believe in medical diagnoses you haven't personally heard of?

That's … interesting.

F-ck you both. Women matter, and have innate and intrinsic value beyond serving as fetal incubators. And unlike you two, I’ve actually given birth, and haven’t had to have an abortion.

Have you heard of pre-eclampsia? Pre-eclampsia and other hypertensive disorders of pregnancy account for 6.8% of maternal pregnancy-related deaths. The primary treatment if it is rapidly progressing to fatal crisis is delivery of the fetus, even if it has not reached viability.

But maybe it doesn't exist, if you haven't heard of it. That would be news to the CDC and a major relief to a heck of a lot of women.

Vasa previa, such as from the velamentous insertion of the umbilical cord, is a major source of antepartum hemorrhage and risk for maternal as well as fetal death. In some cases, the positioning makes it impossible to carry to term.

Hemorrhage is the cause of 11.5% of maternal pregnancy=related deaths in the US.

You can thank planned parenthood for plummeting abortion rates.

Yes, it’s amazing what contraception and healthcare can do.

Thank you other PP for financially supporting PP.

If you dive inti the text of the bill, it becomes apparent that it's so much more than just a full term abortion law. It also effectively allows for post birth abortion, and removes medical qualifications for those people who perform abortions.

It's now harder to be a tattoo artist in NY than perform an abortion.

Is this what we want?

You're right, they should definitely make it easier to get a tattoo.
