Why do most women wear capri or full length tights to the gym when not doing yoga?

This is why I wear leggings and underwear. I don't want my nether regions and legs exposed to whatever is on the machines. And I don't want a yeast infection from wearing synthetic all the time.

I run and do otf 3-4 times per week. So I spend a lot of time in synthetic leggings with no underwear. I have only had one yeast infection in my life. And wearing underwear under the synthetic leggings doesn't suddenly increase oxygen flow. And, I mean, what exactly are you doing to the machines that you need two layers between the machine and your privates to prevent "whatever" from getting on them? You sound like you've got germaphobe issues.

I wear running shorts with built in underwear. So comfy! I save yoga pants for yoga/bar/pilates
