For what? What’s stopping them from starting an investigation?

They first need an alleged crime report filed. Mighty suspicious that Ford adamantly refuses to report what she says happened. It's also concerning that her alleged "witnesses" cannot support her story. Why is that?

Why in the world would two men come forward to say that they assaulted someone? It’s not even know when this assault took place exactly so they could be ‘admitting’ to an entirely different assault. Though frankly it sounds like some crazy supporter has paid two guys to admit to something.
If she remembers Judge and Kavanaugh she remembers them. Are any of these other men being appointed to the Supreme Court? No? Then it’s not relevant.

There are always crazy people who confess to murders and other crimes. This is a known psychological problem for some.

Kavnaugh clearly misled about some of this (eg debauchery) and other things (eg not knowing Kasowitz firm, stolen papers).
Already enough established to disqualify.
But if the assault isnt found to be a credible story today, he gets in.
Notwithstanding said established mendacity, or any other accuser. Its now all about this one incident. Thats the strategy.
FBI investigation is only way to change that up down dynamic.

Your "call the police" mantra is tiresome and simplistic. In the fullness of time, they may file charges-that she hasn't done so yet is not probative of anything. However I certainly can imagine why she wouldn't want to with the low rates of conviction with sexual assault crimes.

Are you going to ask this on every single page of every thread? The victims have requested an FBI investigation which is the same agency that investigated the Anita Hill case and John Tower cases.

Since when FBI were given an authority to investigate sexual crimes? It is jurisdiction of the local police and should be referred to them.

LOL they are saying they won't refer to the FBI because Anita Hill's allegations were private and Ford's are public. A distinction without a difference. This reasoning is complete and UTTER BS.

It's important because once these allegations were out in the open, a confidential background check was no longer in the realm of possibility. The allegations are likely to influence what is said by the people they question.
