+100 It's convenient for Dems to paint Trump's base with broad strokes, but the reality is they have no idea who voted for him. Like you, I hate his style but appreciate much of what he's trying to accomplish. People like PP have no clue just how many people they actually know voted for him - friends, family. Liberals have vastly underestimated just how sick of their BS many American voters are. |
OH, PLEASE. You must be joking. "No Democrat defended Bill's behavior"??? Bahahahahaha! https://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2017/11/27/16678584/bill-clinton-sexual-misconduct-liberals "For many Democrats, preserving a veneer of “sophistication” or “worldliness” — a Europeanized, blasé approach to sex and sexuality — was central to their defense of Clinton. In the 1990s, the left closed ranks around Clinton over Lewinsky. As Matt Yglesias recently wrote for Vox, the left’s defense of Clinton revolved around glossing over other accusations, centering the Lewinsky scandal, characterizing it as consensual, and blaming the prurience and puritanism of the American media. Clinton characterized the affair as a private indiscretion, saying, "I intend to reclaim my family life for my family. It’s nobody's business but ours. Even presidents have private lives. It is time to stop the pursuit of personal destruction and the prying into private lives and get on with our national life.” Central to Clinton and his defenders’ argument was the implication that anyone who judged him was guilty of puritanism and outrage, a quintessentially American obsession with sex that belied an inability to greet sexual misconduct with a Gallic shrug. In a New York Times op-ed, feminist writer Gloria Steinem reserved most of her ire for “the media's obsession with sex qua sex,” which she considered “offensive to some, titillating to many and beside the point to almost everybody.” Mexican novelist Carlos Fuentes dismissed the accusations against Clinton as “sex, puritanism and trivialization,” implying in a Spanish-language op-ed that the media fascination with Clinton could be traced back to the sexual morality of Puritan settlers. The Lewinsky affair made up the greatest part of the Clinton sexual narrative. Other allegations against Clinton were often sidelined as consensual “passes” or dismissed as falsehoods altogether. For many of Clinton’s defenders, that Lewinsky affair was about American prudishness, nothing more. A 1998 Vanity Fair article described the reaction among supposedly liberal, feminist women as similarly “enlightened.” Clinton was desirable, his peccadillos part and parcel of his worldly sophistication." |
DP. This is hysterical - you were saying something about writing a "coherent paragraph"? Get back to us when you actually learn how to.
|
Wow... but you're not condescending or dismissive at *all.* Actually, thank you for exemplifying what liberals are actually thinking. It's most helpful! |
Yep. And they feign outrage at Trump's use of hyperbole - these people are blinded by their own hubris. |
DP, but that's rich. A liberal instructing the rest of us to "take a little responsibility for (our) own actions." Funny how we never see Hillary take responsibility for her own actions - no, instead she blames everyone but herself for her loss. And in doing so, she's showing her base how to avoid taking personal responsibility in their own lives.

Asking again as this seems to have gone unanswered. Thanks.
|
You literally blamed Democrats for your vote for Donald. And now you're trying to distract. I say again: if I were you, I would take a little more responsibility for my actions. |
Google is your friend. |
But I'm not entirely unhappy with the job Trump is doing. His style is horrible, of course. Other than that, I don't have too many complaints. So I fully own my actions. And my point was that Democrats - and their victim mentality and identity politics - drove millions to vote for Trump. There's no way you can deny that fact. |
We don’t pander to libtards, we challenge them. Find the answer yourself. You can do it! |
Nobody's answering because we have fallen for these liberal set-ups before. |
Read DCUM for a few days for maximal progressive fear and anger
You'll be filled and topped off. |
The deplorable comment was directed towards the actual neo-nazi's, alt-right, KKK types. The comment was hijacked to make it mean something different from what she actually said. Welcome to right-wing propaganda. http://www.latimes.com/nation/politics/trailguide/...s-as-1473549076-htmlstory.html
Try reading the whole thing in context and then decide, rather than swallowing the right wing characterization of the quote. |
|
^^^ that comment was not directed to actual neo-Nazis and alt-right types. They are less than 1% of the population! No, Hillary initially said "half" of trump supporters are deplorable, and then backed off when the $hit hit the fan. What idiot craps all over the biggest voting bloc in America and then expects to win?
