It's true.. Trump took a play out of Hitler's playbook:

Exactly. |
Is that what the GOP is trying to do? It's hard to tell with all of the dysfunction and incompetence. |
| Charles manson, nra tea baggers, fox news, hitler, etc... all use fear to fuel anger. They cultivate it and use it to dupe the ignorant into becoming willing pawns n thier desperate game. True evil walks among us. |
Yes, and that's why the left keeps making comparisons to Hitler. It's insulting to the memory of the murdered and the nightmares of the survivors. And all it is is a Democratic campaign strategy - to scare the crap out of minorities so they'll go to the polls. Turnout is key to a Democratic win, and fear is a great motivator. And it's basically all they have. So yes, OP...I agree with fear and anger, but it's the fear being generated from the left. And as far as anger, have you read this forum? The hateful accusations against anyone who dared not vote for Hillary is on a level I've never seen before (and I'm 60). |
Take your meds. |
Your memory must be failing you. |
And yet another meaningless comeback from a liberal. You can't argue the point, in other words. So typical. |
Same liberal as above, same meaningless comeback. |

Nothing you wrote indicated a “point.” Nothing. The idea that leftist campaigns are fearAbased is ludicrous. The write up is from The Nation, but the study is conducted by a neutral group. Net-net, voters driven by fear lean hard right. https://www.thenation.com/article/fear-of-diversity-made-people-more-likely-to-vote-trump/ |
Yes, there's no question about it. Think "id." Think lizard brain. And, besides, it's right there on the label: con·serv·a·tive k?n?s?rv?div adjective 1. holding to traditional attitudes and values and cautious about change, typically in relation to politics or religion. synonyms: traditionalist, traditional, conventional, orthodox, old-fashioned, dyed-in-the-wool noun 1.a person who is averse to change and holds to traditional values and attitudes, typically in relation to politics. synonyms: right-winger, reactionary, rightist, diehard It's not an insult, it's just the truth. And you can make similar spot-on generalizations about liberals/Democrats (many of whom, the higher you go up the socio-economic ladder, are rife with hypocrisy) but they didn't win the Presidency, so... The tide of voters that brought the election to Trump (lower and lower-middle-class whites) were motivated by fear, uncertainty and doubt. They believe they're losing (or have already lost) their place in the world and have to play by rules that others don't. A blathering bullshitter played to those fears and his make-it-up-as-you-go-along bullshit had a refreshing feel of candor and, hilariously, 'honesty'(!) It wasn't honest (Trump is a liar's liar, someone who is deeply committed to the joy of lying and all it can bring him) but it sounded and felt honest (to people who wanted/needed some propping up) and that's often enough. Anyway, peace to all! p.s. He's building a wall, you know. And Mexico's paying for it. "Believe me, believe me," as he likes to say... |
| This is why Trump cannot leave office by impeachment. His floral followers will be terrorists and cause civil unrest. Trumpy must go either in handcuffs/jail or be voted out. |
Loyal!! Not floral.

| There is research that shows conservatives are more fearful and also that fear makes people more conservatives. conservatives sometime reject this idea perhaps because thet are afraid that social scientists are too biased. |
