This is about trumps base not anyone or thing else. When u cant argue the facts attack the other side. How typical. The fact remains that his base is made up of people who watch hannity and believe the crap he spews, they listen to limbaugh levine and savage and revel in the hate these monsters dish out to these fools everyday. Fu
Were you the one who told Hillary to call us deplorable? Sounds like it. You really don't understand that it was your side that caused us to vote for Trump. There are plenty of people who voted for Trump because of Hillary. You seriously cannot understand that? It's not because we loved Trump--DH and I were appalled at him when he won the nomination. However, we were more appalled at Hillary. We still are. As for Trump--I hate his style. However, I like much of what he is accomplishing. Do I like everything he does? NO. But, the choice was clear to me. Hillary made a mess of everything she ever touched. Voting is about choices. You cannot separate them. And, I do not think you have any idea of what Trump's base is. I'm not sure I do. Is it those who voted for him? Is it those at the rallies? Is it those who held their noses and voted for him? Is it those who support him because of the good things he is accomplishing? Right now, I would vote for him again. If Mueller comes up with something on collusion, then I won't have to do so. One thing for sure, I like him better than the alternatives that are currently being presented by the Dems.
You should be embarrassed for your total and complete lack of thought. It’s shocking, really. My side didn’t cause you to vote for anyone; that was your own biases and bigotry. And Hillary's deploreables comment not only pales in comparison to what Donald tweets on a daily basis (though that somehow doesn’t bother you), but also it was a binary. Not every Trump voter was a deplorable, just those who espoused Nazi views, anti-Muslim views. Whatever your news sources are, I’d replace them if I were you. If I were you I would also try to take a little responsibility for my own actions.
The deplorable comment was directed towards the actual neo-nazi's, alt-right, KKK types. The comment was hijacked to make it mean something different from what she actually said. Welcome to right-wing propaganda. http://www.latimes.com/nation/politics/trailguide/...s-as-1473549076-htmlstory.html
You know, to just be grossly generalistic, you could put half of Trump's supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables. Right? The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamaphobic -- you name it. And unfortunately there are people like that. And he has lifted them up. He has given voice to their websites that used to only have 11,000 people -- now 11 million. He tweets and retweets their offensive hateful mean-spirited rhetoric. Now, some of those folks -- they are irredeemable, but thankfully they are not America." "But the other basket -- and I know this because I see friends from all over America here -- I see friends from Florida and Georgia and South Carolina and Texas -- as well as, you know, New York and California -- but that other basket of people are people who feel that the government has let them down, the economy has let them down, nobody cares about them, nobody worries about what happens to their lives and their futures, and they're just desperate for change. It doesn't really even matter where it comes from. They don't buy everything he says, but he seems to hold out some hope that their lives will be different.
Try reading the whole thing in context and then decide, rather than swallowing the right wing characterization of the quote.
