Look at some members of Trump’s beautiful uneducated base:

Someone’s trying to bring a little Mogadishu grit to Kansas. But it’s not hard-working Somalis. It’s cracked-brain trash white men born in this country. Thanks, MAGAts!

I was an early poster, who pointed out that it is the LIBERALS who are fear-mongering in order to scare minorities - traditionally, their base - to the polls, since turn-out is key to a Democrat win. I specifically called out the false and horrible comparisons to Hitler......essentially saying, "vote Democrat or the racists will get you!"

And, right on cue, we have the liberal above demonstrating my point, comparing Trump to Hitler, with the expected FU thrown in for good measure.

You really don’t read outside your silo, do you? Trump's parallels with Hitler have been noted by many, and not necessarily American liberals. The man bragged about having Mein Kampf on his nightstand. His demonization of the media alone should concern you. NP.

Were you the one who told Hillary to call us deplorable?

Sounds like it.

You really don't understand that it was your side that caused us to vote for Trump. There are plenty of people who voted for Trump because of Hillary. You seriously cannot understand that?

It's not because we loved Trump--DH and I were appalled at him when he won the nomination. However, we were more appalled at Hillary. We still are.

As for Trump--I hate his style. However, I like much of what he is accomplishing. Do I like everything he does? NO. But, the choice was clear to me. Hillary made a mess of everything she ever touched.

Voting is about choices. You cannot separate them. And, I do not think you have any idea of what Trump's base is. I'm not sure I do. Is it those who voted for him? Is it those at the rallies? Is it those who held their noses and voted for him? Is it those who support him because of the good things he is accomplishing?
Right now, I would vote for him again. If Mueller comes up with something on collusion, then I won't have to do so. One thing for sure, I like him better than the alternatives that are currently being presented by the Dems.

You should be embarrassed for your total and complete lack of thought. It’s shocking, really. My side didn’t cause you to vote for anyone; that was your own biases and bigotry. And Hillary's deploreables comment not only pales in comparison to what Donald tweets on a daily basis (though that somehow doesn’t bother you), but also it was a binary. Not every Trump voter was a deplorable, just those who espoused Nazi views, anti-Muslim views. Whatever your news sources are, I’d replace them if I were you.

If I were you I would also try to take a little responsibility for my own actions.

Boy, that is some first-rate far-suburban Republican wisdom there...

x100000

It’s 100% on you, denial PP. You like Trump's deplorable policies because you’re a deplorable. Own it. You were voting for him regardless of which other D was in the ticket.

Actually, lets be real about who is hypocritical. Conservatives run on traditional family values, responsible fiscal policy, free markets, and smaller govt. Trump Admin violates all of those "key" values.

Democrats try to practice what they preach. Witness Franken, Weinstein, and even Bill Clinton. No Democrat defended Bill's behavior. The argument was simply that lying to the FBI about what was sex did not rise to an impeachable action. No one defended his behavior. Now, I have heard very few Republicans call out Trump for his behavior, which is far worse and continued to occur decades after Clinton's behavior.

Please. While I would like to vote for a person because I like him/her, I make my choice on the policies. I am a Conservative. Trump is not--but, his policies go more toward where I think than Hillary's.

The fact that neither Trump nor Hillary fit the mold of people I like, made it easier to vote for me to vote for Trump. If I had chosen a candidate because I liked him, it would have been Sanders for me.

This doesn't compute. At all.

So, unless you are able to explain the conservative policies that I missed in Sanders' platform I am going to assume that you are a clear example of the OP's initial statement and you let your hatred of Hillary inform your vote rather than actual policies.

Yes, and that's why the left keeps making comparisons to Hitler. It's insulting to the memory of the murdered and the nightmares of the survivors. And all it is is a Democratic campaign strategy - to scare the crap out of minorities so they'll go to the polls. Turnout is key to a Democratic win, and fear is a great motivator. And it's basically all they have.

So yes, OP...I agree with fear and anger, but it's the fear being generated from the left. And as far as anger, have you read this forum? The hateful accusations against anyone who dared not vote for Hillary is on a level I've never seen before (and I'm 60).

Your memory must be failing you.

DP, but seriously? Nothing of substance to add to the PP’s very well-articulated argument? S/he is absolutely right. Fear mongering is the left’s stock and trade. The constant outrage and hyperbole? It’s all designed to whip the base (liberals) into a frenzy of fear and manipulate minorities into feeling some unnamed fear - all in the hopes of getting poor people out to the polls to vote for the Democrats. And if you dare have a mind of your own and vote for a Republican? According to these morons, you’re Hitler incarnate. It sounds like something out of a Mel Brooks satire... until you realize this is actually happening.

I see not only do you have difficulty formatting, but you’re not original or creative enough to come up with your own words (or thoughts). No worries! You so beautifully illustrated the liberal mindset: follow like sheep.

What is it with you and your formatting issues?? Whatever "point" you've attempted to make has been completely lost in translation. Try harder next time.

The party of peace and tolerance is above using fear to motivate its base.

Hence the left has never declared that the GOP was waging a war on women, used crises to advocate for gun control, or used fear of racist whites to rile up its base.

Nor have leftists ever marched in the streets to protest against any of these fears, despite my lying eyes.

Never, ever.

Not once.

Ever.

Never! The party of "peace and tolerance" (LOL) isn't afraid of anyone or anything. Nope, not a bit.

You're proving OP's point. You’re conservative, and you’re terrified of the world and you assume that everyone else is, too, therefore all the pictures of all the people you’ve seen marching around the world must be doing so in fear. You’re fundamentally missing the point because of your fear.

But liberals and other patriotic Americans aren’t marching out of fear. We march to show solidarity, to show Trump and the GOP cronies that we're not a minority, we're not going to sit idly by while they violate the law and social norms. We march to inform, to be of a group. It's not fear based. It's strength based. It's peace based. Best wishes.

Not the PP, but please explain what laws and social norms have been violated? Thanks so much.
Oh, and of course you're afraid. When Trump won the election, liberals were saying just how "afraid" they were... over and over, ad nauseum. No one takes you seriously anymore.

Not the PP you're referring to (with great fear, I might add), but surely you understand what hyperbole is? Liberals are masters of the form, so it should be easily recognizable to you. Apparently, however, it is not.
