USA Gymnastics stipulated that parents were not allowed to visit their children at their training ranch. They also stipulated that parents were not allowed to travel with their children.

I hate the torture that they perpetrated on these innocent children.

BS rule and I can’t believe these parents were dumb enough to listen. I’m paying my money therefore I should be able to keep an eye on my child.

Good luck with that. You would swiftly find your child dismissed for a fake excuse. USA Gymnastics has zero independent oversight. This has simply got to change. Don't you agree?

The chances that your child is a talented enough athlete to be part of that system are infinitesimally small. How about you cross that bridge when you come to it rather than judging parents from the perspective of someone who doesn't even have a preschooler yet?

Sex abuse might not happen to my kid, so why should I care?

People like you are the problem. You enable the rapists by looking the other way. Shame on you!

So let me see if I understand. Little 4 year old Larla should be forced to quit her rec gymnastics class?

Good. Better late than never. They should have made that decision a very long time ago.

USA Gymnastics has proven itself untrustworthy.
They need to be sued. BIGTIME.

Good. I saw Lynn Raisman (Aly's mom) tweeting about that.

So now it’s 4out of 5 of the Fierce Five? Only Kyla Ross is left.

Why are his enablers getting protected? Why aren't they getting questioned under oath?

My daughter was invited to the training ranch. You can travel with your child, but then you have to stay at a hotel and are not permitted to see your child for the duration of the trip. We opted not to allow it. It was a tough decision though and we were the only ones from the training group that said no.

Why would anyone think he didn't assault ALL of these children?

Only if as a parent you deem the behavior of the coach, staff, etc to be a problem; I’d rather pull my kid out then have them abused.

Yeah I don’t understand how he was permitted to be alone with the gymnasts at the ranch and at competitions. Are the Karyolis and other USA gymnastics officials really that obtuse? When was the last time you got a Pap smear without a nurse in the room?

Although it sounded like in other cases he was still abusing gymnasts with their parents in the room! WTF.

And shame on everyone who dismissed the complaints and warning signs over the years. Inexcusable. USA gymnastics and Michigan State should pay up big time.

I’m glad the camps are being emilinated. It’s about time.

Weiber’s coach in particular (it was his gym where Nassar treated a lot of gymnasts).

Not surprised they took this long, we're going to loose Gold in 2020 with this but may reclaim it with better facilities and trainers by 2024.

The sex abuse of these children was so rampant, that there should be a Federal investigation... just like Hollywood. And if you think this man is the only pedophile in sports, think again.

It should be mandated that children must be chaperoned by people who are advocates for child safety. Surely there's plenty of money being made to cover the costs.
