My chinese relatives apply for every program they have eligibility for.
Its not uncommon in asian communities to bring your parents over upon retirement and have them apply for benefits. You will see plenty of this on mitbbs and wenxuecity and the like, chinese schools sometimes have seminars on how to apply. |
You guys are saying the same thing. And what better life than to come to America and have free ER healthcare, dental, schooling, clothes, language lessons, food stamps * every anchor baby you have, free before and after school care while you work cash jobs and live in a house with 3 other Hispanic families. You’re coming from no experience nor concept of public schools, insurance, preventative healthcare and also no knowledge nor trust in paying taxes or reporting things to la policia. Ask any USAID in latAm what a rosy rosy picture poor Central Americans think of coming to America. Where they are so rich they give you stuff. But at least that’s Better than the corrupt southeast Asian where they think everyone in America is so rich and loaded that they can scam everyone’s money. After all, that’s fair to them and their lack of morals. Seriously, if you were Central American with nothing going for you, Why wouldn’t you illegally come to america and have babies? |
Why are we letting this happen? This makes me a Trump supporter. I know a lot of unqualified Indians with fake resumes working in FreddieMac. That a lot of jobs denied to qualified Americans. FreddieMac is a taxpayer bailed institute, and it has gone to dogs. It's not true that all Indian Managers only hire Indian programmers, on the contrary, I happen to think that Americans are the best programmer and just hire Americans (citizens) |
Agree. Once you’re a citizen/green card or an anchor baby hits 18, various liberal organizations help you fill out all the paperwork to pull in 10, 20+ relatives. Asian and Central American countries have over 20 year waiting lists for family sponsored visas. Thus more illegals and more ppl illegally overstaying their 90 day tourist visa indefinitely. Only in america. Try that in a European, or god forbid a Mideast or Asian country, and you’d be deported ASAP or jailed. |
It is okay they are on welfare. It is not okay that new immigrants get firat whack at the pinata of subsidized work programs, work training programs, social workers’ assistsnce, housing, heating, food assistance, health care and get to sue when a tiny school district can’t afford ESOL teachers for 15 different languages. Get a grip. This is the realityand this is problem. |
Why would intelligent English-speaking Trump voters need work training programs and social workers assistance? Aren't those specifically for the dense and dependent? Able bodied red-blooded proud white Amurrricans don't need that they're not totally clueless they didn't just come here. |
This is why Trump made it clear today that DACA amnesty will only come with and end to chain migration and funding of the wall. Glad to see there can finally be some bipartisanship and compromise that everyone wants to see in congress! |

Word is that that archaic birthright citizenship is on the table!
Talk about distorting behaviors and incentivizing abuse... that should absolutely go. |
Well they don’t get the free relocation and Maryland welcome package that we give illegals once they “show up” at Texas and Arizona detention centers. Nor do they get the free 2-12 month stay in the detention center complex, complete with food, dorm rooms, free dental and health, Wi-Fi computers, and helpful translators and lawyers. I don’t think the schools and local government can milk the taxpayers like they can here in he DMV to subsidized the illegals. So no dropping your litter off at 7am to 6pm for free school programs. |
PP here. My mom is from Central PA, and still has a lot of family there. You couldn't pay me enough to move to that part of the country. There are a couple nice areas, but the opioid issue is out of control. I think Dauphin County had the highest number of overdose deaths last year, although that may have been partly because a lot of people were brought in to the major hospitals from smaller surrounding towns. One of my cousin's kids died of an overdose; before he died, when there was a chance he might pull through, the doctor straight-up told her that *if* he survived, they'd need to move out of the area or he'd be right back on drugs as soon as he got out of rehab. Her kids all went to a private school in that area that's highly regarded, fwiw. |
But Amurrricans own their own homes/trailers. They don't need free stays in detention centers. And Amurrricans don't like lawyers to begin with so screw that. Plus Amurrricans are more in favor of educating their kids at home rather than send em to public school. Sounds like you're complaining about not getting free stuff that you don't even want/need. |
This is fact 5.1 Welfare in the Form of Cash Payments The table below presents the percentages of welfare use by immigrants over the age of 65, both overall and from some of the larger immigrant groups, in 1990. group % on welfare, California all immigrants 45% Chinese 55% Filipino 39% Iranian 26% Korean 50% Mexican 21% Soviet Union 66% Vietnamese 74% all native-born 9% http://heather.cs.ucdavis.edu/pub/Immigration/WelfareUse/WelfareUsageReport/FullNMReport.html#tth_sEc2.1 |
Loved central pa. Would move back in a second. I think people like you belong in an anonymous city like dc. |
Poor attempt to mock certain Americans' dialect. Care to try some other groups' manner of speech? |
My hair stylist told me she brought her mother over from Vietnam years ago, and now Mama (who never worked a day here nor learned the language) enjoys a level of medical care that I cannot afford for myself. The stylist was bragging how her mother needs monthly treatments that cost $1000, and she gets them for free (!), but it turned out that I have the same condition - and the same doctor!! - and have to pay a fortune for them. The stylist seemed VERY embarrassed that her immigrant mother got better care than a citizen who has paid income tax for 30 years, and of a sudden she got very quiet. There is something very wrong with a system that provides better benefits for non-productive immigrants than tax-contributing citizens. |
