- The illegal immigrants be called by the more respectful "undocumented workers" label and be protected in Sanctuary Cities, while law-abiding citizens exercising their right to vote are called every nasty name in the book and threatened with their livelihoods.

- Lawless thugs burning down property are given "space to destroy" by the liberal mayor, while hard-working shop owners watch their businesses go up in flames.

- A young man tries to grab a gun from a cop in an effort to kill him, and the liberals defend the thug with lies and force the law-abiding cop into hiding for fear of his life.

- Liberals become enraged if there is any hint of criticism of a welfare recipient with five kids acting entitled to public support, while mocking hard working lower-income folks, making do on what they earn, as uneducated, stupid rednecks from West Virginia.

- Liberals go bat-shit crazy if someone complains about all these bilingual signs and says illegal immigrants need to learn English, yet when a legal immigrant makes some errors in grammar, they ridicule her.

- Liberals demonstrate more hatred and acrimony for their fellow citizens (who wouldn't vote for Hillary) than they do a murdering dictator who is threatening our country.

Agree. And why should illegal aliens get citizenship at all? That's the problem with liberals. They are too willing to overlook illegal behavior. MAYBE legal residency (assuming they don't get so much as a DUI), but if they want citizenship, they need to go back and take their place in line.

This is how I feel about it too.

I met an undocumented family years ago. The parents came here to leave a desperate situation back home and have taken terrible jobs (including poultry industry) to try to make ends meet. The dad has been sent home a few times. Their lives are very precarious. Despite all of their troubles they are very kind and very hard working. I have a great amount of sympathy for them even though I don't think they should have come here illegally. But they were in a bad situation - not sure what I would have done differently myself if I were in their shoes.

The poultry factory where they work is terrible. They seem to be blatantly breaking the law and going unpunished. Plus the working conditions are terrible. Seems unjust that this family and others are being prosecuted but this company goes unscathed.

Agree with both PPs. A woman who used to care for a neighbor's daughter was here illegally and she fled her home country after her entire immediate family, including a younger brother, was killed by gang warfare. She came to the US as a 17 year old girl - no family at home and only a distant relative in the DC area. People like this woman are fleeing terror at home and while I don't think entering the country illegally is okay, now that she's here she should be treated humanely and with a path to citizenship. She is hardworking, two jobs (both menial but nevertheless she works them) and she has taught herself English.

Again: this woman, here illegally, should get to jump ahead of all the other immigrants who have waited patiently for years to LEGALLY become citizens? Why?

Good question. We do have limited resources so obviously we can't help ALL. But we can't just close our doors and help none.
