+1 The people complaining here have the shriekers |
| Forget bout the screaming. You know them kids is peeing in the pool. Don't open your mouth. |
Please. The adults are too. |
HA! Good point. |
But 55+ housing is? Not trying to snark, it's something I've been wondering about as my local jurisdiction continues to court development of 55+ housing. |
Right? It's like some people think the chlorine is there just for funsies. |
At my former apartment, running on the pad, splashing, loud noise/screaming would get you booted from the pool. Some of it is a safety hazard. Sometimes though people call anything not to their liking screaming, so it is hard to say whether this is the case with OP. |
Kids + Pools = screaming. If you knew your building had a pool when you turned in the application, then you have nobody to blame but yourself for your irritation. Also: weren't you ever a kid? Sheesh. |
Sadly, most DCUM posters were born middle-aged. |
And they think the world only revolves around themselves. |
I this thread alone we have people making strong distinctions between shouting, loud yelling, screaming and shrieking. I highly doubt all these people mean the same thing by each term. Kids yell at pools. So it goes. |
| I really believe parents should control their kids!!!! If the little monsters are screaming at the top of their lungs, then they need to be told to tone it down!!!! |
You were at a pool. Get over yourself. |
Complain to lifeguard and resident manager. The lifeguard should have stopped this behavior the first time it happened. |
Yup. I wrote earlier that I was a lifeguard + put a stop to screaming kids. There are noise level codes in most jurisdictions. |
