Screaming children at my apartment pool

Are you a parent? Obv not! This is normal and totally appropriate, otherwise they don't get their "wiggles and emotions" out. A lot of things change when you are a parent, you understand more.

It’s a mixed use place so while it is outdoors and no one expects quiet, the kids should be expected to be mindful of other people. Even if it is only kids, I’m sure there are kids there who don’t enjoy constant screaming as well.

Yeah, fair point. Although what really bothered me is that the mom of the screamer was yakking on the phone for an hour while her child shrieked and annoyed everyone else.

They always are. Rude, bratty kids = lazy, checked out parents.

Kids + Pools = screaming. If you knew your building had a pool when you turned in the application, then you have nobody to blame but yourself for your irritation.

Yes, we were kids. If we screamed or shrieked repeatedly, we were parented. Imagine that.

Well, I’m a parent and find shrieking children to be annoying. They don’t need to shriek for their growth and development or to be happy.
