21 on the P-K list. Do we have a shot? |
I meant PK-4! |
Doubtful, but it will depend on the common lottery results of the people above you. |
| What is the cutoff number for pk3? Anyone know? |
| Is there any chance they will expand again this year as the expansion last year was part of a 10 year plan to add 150 or so seats? Or is that just for when they get additional space? |
No. If you look at the enrollment ceiling projection grid on the last page of this document, it lays out their projections http://www.livebinders.com/play/play?id=1999638#anchor The addl seats were basically to ensure there were enough seats to account for the increased retention once DCI opened, and for new class they added last year. They truly cannot grow any larger without impacting DCI, which has a limit on how many LAMB students it can accommodate each year. |
Probably 27, that's how many slots were announced at the live lottery this morning, and that number took into account sibling preference. |
You will definitely get in. Don't listen to the weirdo above. |
That's how sibling preference works. If you look down the list you'll notice all twins are paired. |
PP is right. Some people may decline LAMB because they get something even better in the common lottery, but it is unlikely that all of the people above you would do that. |

1-27 are in for PK3
1-5 are in for PK4 1 is in for K They usually make sure siblings get in together. |
Last few years pk4 list went beyond that number. |
| My concern is that there will be a big lawsuit, that, honestly, seems justified, and that could financially cripple the school or even cause it to shut. But I don't really know how those kind of lawsuits work or are paid out, does that seem like a real concern? |
| Will be people accept a spot and also accept a common lottery spot? Can they hold both? |
