Do you think God was talking to you? |

One night a had a very unspecific dream that I was in a dangerous situation. I woke up frightened.
The next morning I tried unsuccessfully to remember what the situation was. Later that day, as I was headed into a familiar section of Rock Creek Park, suddenly that same frightened feeling from the night before came over me. I decided not to walk that way. Why take the chance? I'll never know if I averted something dangerous. |
| Yes. Twice. The first was as clear as day - I was in sixth grade, running home in the dark, and I suddenly knew with total certainty that I was going to break something. A second later, I tripped, went flying, and broke a bone. |
I'm more spiritual than religious. (Stopped attending church years ago bc I wasn't feeling any connection) So I'm not sure what to make of it. I do know that I'm grateful for whatever "it" was that intervened. |
It means you naturally understand what's going on with people or relationships, without being told. A friend of mine is really good at reading situations -- sometimes just looking at someone (say, a new person at work) and knowing how they will react in certain situations. She doesn't think of it as intuition, just something she understands - and wonders why others don't and why people are so impressed or surprised when she's right about a complex situation that no one else foresaw. |
| I had a dream my dad died a week before it happened. I was just a kid and told him. He said he went to a cardiologist that day but daddy was going to be okay. The morning he died I was at a sleepover and the phone rang, I answered the phone and said "dad's dead" and it was my mom. |
[b] PP who dreamed her dad died- To me, yes. I also had a dream all my teeth fell out the night before he died. When my grandma died that night I dreamt one tooth fell out. |
She's probably an empath too. This sounds like me and I'm an empath. As I've become more familiar with it i realize I really do pick up the emotions of other people- which is why I often interrupt people and can finish their sentences. Or if someone is having a hard time expressing themselves, say, to a group, I can always pick up what they are saying and translate it so everyone gets it. I even have no issues with people who don't speak the same language. I think it's definitely because I'm an empath, but as I've learned more about this facet of my personality I see the downsides- namely, constantly feeling bombarded with others' emotions, both good and bad. It can be truly exhausting. |
[b] Not true. I am an atheist and very intuitive. I have had several major premonitions. |

Professional Psychic? with certification from the US Psychic association and licensure from the state board like other professions? |
You don't know what the word "professional" means? |
It means doing it for a living - Like professional crystal ball reader, professional dermatologist, professional Reki master, professional gastroenterologist, professional empath. |
Ding ding ding! Your cookie is in the mail. |
She means "doing it for money." Which is a little suspect and entirely different from having dreams and premonitions of the type described here. |
