What is all of this hyperventilating about the Russians?

Inferring in elections is bad. Like that time Obama sent taxpayer money to find Bibis opposition

I didn't know the DNC laughing off the FBI about security threats was "Russian hacking"?

1) Phishing is a kind of hacking
2) No proof that the DNS hacks were an inside job. Even if they are, what about hacks of Podesta, RNC, and Democratic candidates?
3) DNCs IT security, while perhaps poor, has nothing to do with the ultimate fact of Russian interference.

Not sure what your ultimate argument is here.

If it was, then every media outlet, including (gasp!) foreign media outlets, would be guilty of "manipulating" the election results. Now if Russia hacked the voting machines and actually changed the vote count, that would be a totally different story. Releasing true information is the way our society works. If our domestic media sources are totally biased and will only break negative stories about one candidate, then that's a problem that I'm happy to have an external entity fix. Bravo to them for doing so.

it is manipulation when you only leak information about one party in the election.

So CNN, MSNBC, the New York Times, Washington Post, et al. are also guilty then? What if one of those media outlets is foreign-owned? Does that also justify clutching one's pearls?

Allegations of hacking by Russia is now pearl clutching. Wow.

We enter an era where no fact matters, blatant bigotry and plutocracy are celebrated as Making America Great Again, and reckless, irresponsible, and corrupt behavior from Trump and his cronies in the States and abroad, no matter how dangerous to our democracy, national security, and civil society, is normalized.

Perfectly a-ok for Trump to urge the Russians to hack into our systems and no big deal that Trump and his associates not only invited the hacks but then suppressed investigations for political gain. Just like no big deal that his kids sit in official meetings with policy makers and foreign business and leaders. Nothing tonsee here!

It must be exhausting to be trapped in your mind! Relax bro.

At least I'm using my mind, bro. You, on the other hand, are happy to watch Fox News as your candidate and his cronies undercut our democracy.

We heard about this all summer and fall.

When did Obama order an investigation? When did he promise retaliation? Was it before or after Hillary lost?
before.

The White House wanted to act and GOP leadership, including Comey, shut it down because they knew to gain from the information being released.

Wow. Obama sounds pretty ineffective. If Comey is the type of guy to try to get in the president's way, maybe the president shouldnt have appointed him. Just a thought.

Yup.

Obama should have resigned during his first time, once he realized he was pretty useless at getting anything done.

Well, aacording to Trump, I'm sure it's Hillary's fault. I heard him say many times in the debates that she is responsible for everything that did not get done in D.C. over the past three decades.

Well, except for all those times he wielded despotic authority through Executive orders changing the face of America as we know it.

Anonymous wrote:Dems are angry that the Russians revealed true and unfavorable things about the Dems? That's what this "scandal" is about? They are angry that they weren't able to get away with their lies and crimes and that somebody exposed them? Dems have the mainstream media to exclusively publish harmful stories about the republicans and to pair up with Dems leaking info about trump's "grab em!" statement etc. So Dems are just angry that the republicans were able to level the playing field? How silly. All is fair in love and war.

Completely agree. I could understand the outrage if the emails were proven to be fake, but everything was true - I'm grateful it was exposed! Not quite understanding the hysteria, other than the obvious mortification Dems must be experiencing. But as you say, they've had the liberal media turning themselves inside out in their eagerness to smear Republicans, particularly Trump. You know what they say about karma...

Also, what about these reports that the DNC emails were leaked from within by disgusted Democrats? It's looking more and more like the left is looking for scapegoats to mask the loathing some of their own have for their party.
