How entitled do you have to be to have a tantrum to the front desk person because your candidate didn't win? And, if you feel so strongly about not attending the inauguration if the other candidate wins, why oh why would you book the hotel before the actual election?

People are funny.

Because no one thought the orange demon would win? I was watching KellyAnne Conway on TV the other day and even she said the victory was a surprise. During Obama's inauguration hotels so out in days for miles around. So this supporter obviously wanted in on the historic nature of a first female president.

So sad. I guess maybe she's learned not to assume anymore. Have the rest of you learned?

I picture you saying this with a German accent. Or would it be Russian now?

To answer your question, no. They keep going with the arrogance and derision. It's like the school nerd who KNOWS that his personality is why no one wants to sit with him at lunch, but refuses to change.

Kind of entertaining to watch tho.

He routinely cites complex lit fiction (e.g., Marilynne Robinson) as what he's reading.

Those who hate Obama and love Trump to the degree that they need to find Obama is 'an airhead' are a desperate lot. You hate him. He is better than you, and smarter than you by an exponential degree.

To bad he won't release his transcripts. Wonder why he won't?

I'll stick to wondering why Cheeto won't release those tax returns. Or the Apprentice tapes.

Of course you will. Why you would you think critically about anything that undermines your world view?

And you wonder why you lost.

Oh, stop with the "corrupt" and "bad" bullshit. That's all just part and parcel of the Russian bullshit being spewed.

NP here. Really, you can't blame everything on the Russians. It just makes you look like fools. How can you possibly say HRC isn't corrupt? We'll wait while you muster up some rationalization.

That's exactly what it is. Hillary supporters were so smug and certain she would win. Like the hundreds of posts on here bragging about how the election was a done deal (most of which Jeff deleted in retrospect ) It's incredible that so many people were so confident and then proven so horribly, horribly wrong

I did notice that many of those posts had been deleted. Must be awfully embarrassing.

Apparently, they can't secure anyone to play. Other than Nugent and Chachi

Maybe Scott Baio will come.

Oh, oh, I forgot Kid Rock.

I guess if you go to the inauguration hoping for a music concert, then yes, you would find it disappointing.

But you would also have bigger problems.

The Obama and the proggy prog progs think hollywood is life. The Kennedy Center Honors and Pres Medal of Freedom has turned into "what celeb or musician or actor has supported Obama and/or liberal causes," actual merit has been thrown out the window.

Obama wants to own an NBA team. He's an airhead. We are supposed to take Beyonce and Jay Z seriously? Not on my watch.

It's great the morons in Hollywood and the music industry aren't flocking to Trump. Ill educated, naive, pretenders can stay on their movies lots and pretend they are heroes and princesses and whatever but we all know they are rich idiots. I bet few of them voted, that's beneath them.

So damn true. I live in LA and I pass celebrities every day- who cares?! If that's why you go to these events, then that is such a sad reflection of your political thought process.

It's like something out of idiocracy, hey, throw Beyonce in here so you don't pay attention to the bad policy decisions! Or here- here's Katy Perry!

At the time of all the celebs schilling for Hillary, I really thought no one could be dumb enough to allow Miley Cyrus to alter their vote.

But seeing the people talking about how the inauguration wills suck because Wiz Khalifa isn't performing, you start to realize that the idiocy is real.

THIS x 1,000,000. It amazes me what some people think an inauguration should be about. Hint: it isn't the "entertainment."

Tell me about it! On and on in an endless diatribe against Trump and how Hillary was going to win in a landslide.

There was this one poster who would challenge anyone who said that Trump would win to wager with him/her.

I took him/her up on it and since then the poster has gone dark

I took the wager because whoever lost was to give a charity the winner would choose $50. I figured that was no big deal even if I lost but the poster who lost the wager was all talk obviously. Check out the last post on this thread where I asked the poster to honor the deal.

If you go to the inauguration to see Cheeto being sworn in, yes, I agree you would have bigger problems.

Also, aw, sour grapes.

I know. It's so cute seeing the Hillary-stans whining.

But also entertaining.

I am more amused at seeing the Trumpkin buyer remorse. Just the social media posts on the Medicare and Social Security proposals are hilarious.

So, you get neither the bread, nor the circus.

Thank you for posting this. I couldn't even get through the whole thing, these people are so ludicrous. Looks like the left has plenty of nutcases as well.

I am so sad Katy Perry won't be there dressed as a piece of patriotic fruit, twerking to Skrillex's remix of the "America the Beautiful."

I am heartbroken that Lena Dunham won't be there, taking selfies with strangers and exposing her pale white blubber in the cold.

I am distressed that (insert any brain-dead, non-voting, didn't even graduate from high school celeb a to d list) won't be there lecturing Americans on Hillary's greatness and pretending they voted or give an actual damn.

I am so upset I won't see Bruce or BonJovi and their "working class hero" schtick while they have private jets and mansions and wouldn't dream of being amongst the actual voters.

Yeah, what a shame. Too bad Janet Jackson is pregnant and a muslim now, she and Justin Timberlake could expose her breast again and on tv and this time it could go viral and be the best inag ever. Kanye could rant about George Bush and all the dems could explode in happiness.

Sigh, we are missing so very much.

Best post ever.

I don't hate Obama, nor do most Trump voters I know. I think Obama is a nice, personable man. I am, however, ready for the country to change course as far as immigration and terrorism are concerned. Why is that so hard for people like you to comprehend? We're ready for new leadership. Doesn't mean we "hate" anybody.

Again: is it any wonder your candidate lost? You people need to do some serious introspection regarding the way in which you look down your noses at half the country. You call yourselves the "non-judgmental" ones, when the reality is anything but.

So, not only are you lacking logic, but you also can't do math.

Half the country did not vote at all. Of the ones who voted, less than 50% voted for Trump. So yes, you are a minority. And since you are supporting a bully, xenophobic agenda yes, the gloves will be off. Telling it like it is, just as you like it! And if you don't like it, oh, too bad. You are just getting back what you put out there.

And you were saying something about "poor losers"? Wow. Way to prove a point.

Tired, tired, tired. You working real hard on getting the system changed to be "win by popular vote" in 2020? I wonder if you all will keep holding onto this defense tactic for the next four years. Please do.
