Also he's totally exaggerating the sold out part. I'm in Loudoun (25 miles away) and the hotels near me are not sold out, nor are my neighbors AirBNB-nig their homes. 100 miles away is Richmond FFS. Also not sold out.

Even Trumps rubes don't want to be in Loudoun County. Didn't they tell you about the commute at the sales trailer?

You are sooooo funny! DH works 4 miles from home in Reston and I don't work, so we are good with the commutes!

You need a London Urban Moms out there in flyover country then.

A lot of places are sold out because people are coming in for the march on Washington.

You need to do a little research and figure out which party actually has more welfare queens.

Sure.

NP, check for yourself. Lots of availability at central hotels for good rooms and so-so rates.

My husband is a tech contractor. We live out near Loudoun in Great Falls. Only one of his jobs has been in Arlington, and he chose it because it was directly on the metro line, and he could work from home at least three days per week. Other than that, his jobs have been in Western FFX county or in Loudoun county.

What commute?

Ummm, I think the PP was talking about commuting downtown for inaugural events, not living/working there

The hotel is sold out, the city is sold out, the surrounding cities for 100 miles are sold out. People are selling sofa-space on AirBNB for $200 a night, and THEY're sold out.

More fake news? There are many hotels available.

What does this even mean? that Reston is a stone's throw away from DC? I think you're commenting on commuting and not on the commute to the inauguration.

How entitled do you have to be to have a tantrum to the front desk person because your candidate didn't win? And, if you feel so strongly about not attending the inauguration if the other candidate wins, why oh why would you book the hotel before the actual election?

People are funny.

Just as entitled and infantile as Trump.

I thought Trump voters were the ones without jobs and thus unhappy with the economy?
I am confused.

They should just stick around for the protest marches on 1/21 if they don't wsnt to go to inauguration and can't cancel.

Trump supporters are poor and if they have money they would by heroine. God, so glad they bought his lie about draining the swamp and putting in all the CEOs. It's like having the foxes watch the hen house. They will dismantle everything that served and protected Americans so they can make an easy buck. Cronyism at its finest.

Or can't due to Obama'a crap economy, which gave Rs huge wins in 2016.

Keep blaming it on the Russians.
