It's like having the foxes watch the hen house. They will dismantle everything that served and protected Americans so they can make an easy buck. Cronyism at its finest.

Again: is it any wonder your candidate lost? You people need to do some serious introspection regarding the way in which you look down your noses at half the country. You call yourselves the "non-judgmental" ones, when the reality is anything but.

So, not only are you lacking logic, but you also can't do math.

Half the country did not vote at all. Of the ones who voted, less than 50% voted for Trump. So yes, you are a minority. And since you are supporting a bully, xenophobic agenda yes, the gloves will be off. Telling it like it is, just as you like it! And if you don't like it, oh, too bad. You are just getting back what you put out there.

Tired, tired, tired. You working real hard on getting the system changed to be "win by popular vote" in 2020? I wonder if you all will keep holding onto this defense tactic for the next four years. Please do.

I find it hilarious that you are assuming I am a democrat.
Even funnier that you ASSume that I am someone who is unaware of how things work in Washington (like, really work), and thus would jump on the ridiculous electoral college strategy. Hilarious, I tell you.
But hey, I know Trumpkins are not smart. That is a very important fact to consider for the next four years.

Babe, I can only go on what you write. I didn't say anything that assumes you don't know how things work in Washington. I think you just wanted to let us know that you do. And what you wrote is the same damn tired talking points seen all up and down this forum by every other person who dislikes Trump, then you pretend those same trite words are more enlightened when they're coming from your special keyboard.

I do suggest you re-read your replies because I am only responding to those. And yes, you made a whole bunch of assumptions in them.

I am also very confused as to what compels you to respond to the "same damn tired talking points" every single time. Methinks they are getting under your skin. Scratch that. I am sure they are.

Happy Holidays! (hopefully this will trigger you a little more

"Holidays" is based from "Holy" days. You just can't win, amirite?

Yep, and close in, too.

That's because hotels know there will be many no-shows from Dems that already reserved/paid for them. The hotels can now sell them a second time.

They can't sell them again unless they refund the original booking.

It's a mixed bag. Willard is sold out as are both Ritz. Most Marriott properties have space.

That's not how things work, Pepe.

Many hotel rooms at the premiere hotels are booked by outfits that put together inaugural packages.

There are always places for inauguration. If you live or stay outside of the beltway that doesn't count as D.C.
You can find hotels in D.C. and close D.C. Suburbs like Bethesda and Arlington.

Except there weren't any such places in 2009 and 2013.

That's not quite how that works.

Everything as far as Annapolis were booked in 2009.

I'm no fan of Cheeto but let's be fair. Do you think a HRC inauguration would have garnered the same enthusiasm as Obama's?

Yeah it is, it's called over-booking. Airlines and hotels do it all the time.
