Dictionary.com isn't opinion. It's a dictionary, Einstein. |
Last I checked, dictionary.com has neither medical nor legal authority. Nice try for a middle school debate team in rural Alabama. |
When will you oppose the death penalty and war? |
Of course, half of conceptions get washed out in the next menstrual cycle, so potentially every woman who menstruates is miscarrying. The logical conclusion, of course, is forced monthly pregnancy tests for every female from age 13 to 50 unless they can prove they have no eggs that work. And of course we'll have to ban all these women from smoking, drinking alcohol, and eating soft cheeses and other things that could kill a developing embryo. But if it's a matter of a corporation polluting the air or water or forcing women to work too much or not giving them medical leave to go to their ob-gyn then of course that's not something to be concerned about. |
AGAIN, it's a dictionary, not a court. Are you dense, or what? Point being: Abortion is the killing (aka "termination") of a human life. Period. Fact is fact is fact. Sorry, my friend. It isn't pretty.
|
You're thinkng of infanticide. That's a different word. |
I actually said "abortion". You may reread my post. |
Well, an embryo has been fertilized and can live in a Petri dish so you are kind of wrong. An egg hasn't been ferilized. Frozen embryos - test tube babies... |
Use whatever semantics you choose. Baby killing is wrong. God only knows how many messy abortions have resulted in the skyrocketing infertility rates. That's only one of the very painful consequences of abortion, you know. |
|
^^ not of safe abortions.
Maybe back alley illegal ones. |
.......Obviously not every abortion results in infertility. Some women have multiple abortions without any harm to their ability to have additional pregnancies. |
Perhaps it's the toxic tap water causing the sudden skyrocketing rates of infertility among so many women? Of course there are multiple causes, and abortions are CERTAINLY one of them. Surgical messing with your reproductive system can most DEFINITELY have unwanted consequences. Face it. |
Well, yeah, they do. It's just that the "host" isn't willing to carry them to term at this point. Or do you seriously think that there are ANY frozen embryos without a woman involved? like, there is some company out there randomly investing in freezing and storing embryos without someone trying for pregnancy? That's idiotic. |
I had an abortion. My conscience is clear, and my existing child (the real one, not the tadpole looking entity I aborted) is delightful. |
+1. I had 2 abortions and my 2 existing kids are awesome. As is my husband whom I thought I should marry before having kids. I NEVER even think about it. |
