Op here.
It ended up being an actual date, not a hook up. I'm as surprised as everyone else. He suggested going to a movie, that started at 945 pm that he wanted to see, and we met for drinks beforehand around 8. We talked in his car for over an hour after the movie, kissed a little bit and drove our own cars home.
I had a really great time and he suggested me meet up again so we"ll see.
