I had a friend named Cinnamon. She went by Cindy. In no way shape or form did she look like 'Cinnamon"...and she told me she hated her name. She is a successful businesswoman and seemed embarrassed by her real name.

Honestly it sounds like name of a kid that has hippy parents... or is a stripper, and/or comes from a white trash family. Sorry, those are the first things that come to mind.

If you are going to call her Cindy anyway, why bother naming her after a spice? Name her Cynthia - its such a nice name. You are doing your kid a disservice if you name her Cinnamon....
