| No. |
| I mean, Gwyneth named her daughter Apple. How different is Cinnamon, really? |
| So you're basically guaranteeing her career as a stripper. Nice. |
| January is a nice, unusual name. Just popped into my head. Poppy is sweet too. Penelope. These are slightly retro names that sound cool with last names like Smith. There is also an Indian name, Simran, if you really like the Cinnamon name. Am i the only one who hears, "i wanna live with the cinnamon girl?" Good song. |

I don't know if you're a troll, but I actually knew a girl named Cinnamon. That's what she went by and by all accounts well adjusted. (I think Cindy is an atrocious name.)
I wouldn't do it OP. If you insist on a spice name--maybe Saffron. |
Yes! And wasn't Cinnamon the name of Stacey Q's character when she guest-starred on an episode of The Facts of Life? |
|
I prefer Garlic Powder, but some people don't like double names.
|
| How about you name your baby Cindy or Cynthia, and call her "Cinnamon" as an at-home nickname? |
| I think you should name your child whatever you want, but of the two people I know with truly unique non-name first names, they are not normal people. One has poor moral values and one has both parents in jail. One is named after an alcoholic drink and there is no way to say her name without smirking. The other one has a Disney name which is fine if you are an animal but never going to work out well as an adult. As much as I love unique names, some carry connotations that cannot be transcended. That's not say you shouldn't name your child whatever you want. Just how long have you dreamed of this name and is there any chance it's just a passing whim? |
| I kind of like Cinnamon. |
NP here - Salt and Pepper's kid was Paprika! |
|
That's not out there, it's in there. In the spice drawer. Don't.
"These are our three: Cinnamon - that's for my mom, Oregano - that's for DH's dad, Steve, and this is the baby Cumin." |
Define "Disney" name - like oh, crap, we named our daughter Jasmine and then Aladdin exploded or more like Thumper because they just loved that bunny so damn much? |
Stacey Q! Now there's there's a blast from the past. "Two of hearts..." |
| Yuk |
