Stop transgender kids

So don't have sex reassignment surgery. Whew, that was an easy one.

You believe that? Like with Tinkerbell at the end of Peter Pan?

Have you asked anybody who has had gender reassignment surgery?

So damn true. I feel like we've even regressed from when I was a little kid in the 90s. Most of my (girl) friends wore t-shirts with jeans, and no one raised any eyebrow or thought "You must be a boy."

It's sad, cause I can definitely remember being a teen in the early 2000s and I'm SURE many of the kids would have been ushered the road towards being "Transgender", instead of the wonderful LGB or just unique straight people they turned out to be today.

Do you have a child? If so, how old is your child? I have two tween/teen daughters. Nobody is saying "You must be a boy" to girls wearing T-shirts or jeans now, either.

And don't worry about a shortage of future lesbians or bi people -- I've been assured many times right here on DCUM that all the girls these days think they're lesbian/bi.

I dont, thank God, considering I'm 26.

But I am young enough to be on tumblr, twitter and other social platforms and let me tell you, it's happening frequently. Whether your preteen daughters are aware of it or not.

As for the bi/lesbian thing- I myself am bi. Wouldn't say it's everyone my age, but a lot of women are exploring their sexuality critically, yes. THAT is a good thing.

Yes. It is. And that is wonderful.

But life being better for the LGBTQ youth, in my opinion, should not require them to have plastic surgery or take drugs that will give them cancer. I know! Crazy!

I guess you and I can't understand what life must be like for these kids if they and their parents are willing to go to such extreme measures. If you can't be empathetic, try not being so judgemental.

Have you heard of Munchausen by proxy? Parents are willing to go to extreme measures. I'm skeptical that the parents of the 6 year old transgender child are doing the best for their child.

I have read a lot of testimonials.

Do you even know what is involved? Did you know that a transwoman's vagina is basically a gaping wound for life- it never actually closes up?

Did you know that often their ability to orgasm is either severely reduced or nearly impossible?

Did you know that a prominent trans activist once said "there is no word in the English language, that I am aware of, for the smegma-like mixture of dead skin cells, gynaecological lube, stale urine (gives it its distinctive smell) and sweat that is sometimes present as a white residue on the end of a dilation stent when a post-operative trans woman withdraws the stent after dilating her neovagina."

You have no idea how involved and destructive these surgeries are. You seem to be the one believing in fairytales.

Yes, it is a good thing. It is a good thing for people to be able to decide for themselves who they are, instead of having other people decide it for them.

Yes, I'm sure the world would be a much better place if everyone would pass all their childrearing decisions through you. Please call CPS if you believe a child is being abused by their parents. Otherwise, MYOB.

Somebody is obsessed with other people's genitalia, that's for sure.

I'm going to report this thread to Jeff. I think it's beyond its useful life.

Agreed. Especially without other people pushing a certain agenda so that people will still be adhering to gender norms. aka encouraging a young boy who wants to dress as a princess that this means he's actually a girl and need to hack off his dick.

Go right ahead. It's absolutely useful.

And what a reductive way to describe it. Yes, when people's genitalia are being destroyed, yes, I do think it's notable. Call me crazy!

And I guess stop talking about your opinions too? Well, time to shut down DCUM, then! Everyone head home. After all, no one is allowed to talk about anyone's parenting!

You are oddly obsessed with this. Please share this post with your therapist the next time you meet.

Because I quoted about gender reassignment?

It was from Sarah Brown, a prominent trans activist. She's the one who wrote it, if you have an issue please take it up with her.
