Why did I think the 23rd was a half day in MCPS?

Is this being asked sarcastically?

Probably not, but I already know that roughly 20% of my MS students are going to be absent the day we are supposed to return. W feeder. They've already told us they will still be in Europe or the Caribbean. Unit Tests are scheduled for the week of 1/11 and Algebra and FL exams start the week after that, so I taught on 12/23 and I will teach on 1/4. No movies. Just curriculum. I'm most worried about my students who went to Latin America and Asia. They seem to all plan to return the week of the 1/11 and will miss the last instruction before the tests.

Yes, we see your child heading to Harvard while the fun moms kids drop out of high school. What a troll. Who goes into school to watch all the kids getting intense math lessons, lol. Intense math lessons and MCPES? Haha.

14:17 - Is the first week of January a traditional week for international travel? Why would so many kids be out?
