Hot, rich 24yr old guys exist? Are they rich from mom and dad?

I only know one 23yr old engaged to a 45yr old. She's a former model and is beautiful. She's certainly a god digger, but definitly not a second stringer. She is after money and he's an owner of a very large national business. He had his pick.

I'm sure there are a few. Very few. There are many, many more hot 24 yr old women out there and they can't all be "first stringers." Hotness alone won't be enough to differentiate them from the pack. Which is too bad for her, because when a guy can take his pick of that many beautiful women I'm gonna guess that an entitled bitchy attitude will cull her out early.

Lol! Thanks for the junior high analysis.

I actually agree with the bolded. In demand men marry attractive, smart, and, most importantly, easy-to-be-with women. So if you aren't naturally an very accommodating, easy-to-be-with-woman (which I am not, hehe) the young rich guys are out. My DH is roughly my age (he is 2 years older), very hot and smart with a prestigious career but not rich, and honestly I think that's why he puts up with my shit.

I generally think men that age are pretty desperate for young female attention. Roping one in is about as easy as catching a sloth. On the other hand I really respect women, regardless of age, who manage to catch the young, hot, and intelligent guys. Those are the trophies, in my book.

They don't "have" to marry them, they choose to. Because they love them. Has anyone ever loved you?

Here is the golden rule of dating older men:

The older he is, and greater the age difference, the higher the bar gets set.

More money, status, personality, emotional maturity, etc., to make up for the age, and presumably reduced looks and fitness.

Of course, that's a rather mercenary way of looking at it, but I think there is some truth to it.

I noticed when in my 20s that I would often see rich, 40+ men with women in their 20s that the average 20yo guy would not find all that attractive.

After my divorce in my late 30s I had a six month relationship with a grad student, so it's possible her peers would have thought the same thing about us.

Erm...what if the guy is 2-4 years older?

What if the guy -1-2 years younger?

That's fine and still qualifies.

We're talking about men who are significantly older. Say, older than 5 years.

Sorry, but she is.

There are rich 24 year olds, usually a combination of family money and doing well in school which leads to an instantly well paying job. Even if they're only upper middle class with a lot of disposal income at that age, it's still far preferable to be with a hot 20 something with extra cash then a 45 year old who has a house.

Yep.

The older men usually have to settle for the girls who's bodies arent that great and particularly faces are off.

And the young girl is just excited to be getting attention since she doesnt usually get it from men her age, who are chasing after the prom queen types

x2. Things seem to hold up until 40 and then it's downhill fast...

Well, in that case, at age 37, she's right behind him.

Genetics are kinder to some than others.

Women actually age slower than men, in general. They use face creams, stay out of the sun, worry about aging- all that good stuff that tends to keep one looking good. Not to mention women have lower rates of obesity than men, which also keeps a person looking younger.

What are you smoking? Women age significantly faster than men. It is typically day and night when comparing a woman from late 20s to mid 30s. If they were not already fat by their 20s they gain weight and wrinkle by mid thirties. I do not see the same with men typically. Marriage in general causes both sexes to gain weight because they give up.

NP here. I recently attended my 25 year HS reunion. Overall, the men were a mess. Some were so fat and bald that I barely recognized them and they were good looking guys back in the day. The women for the most part held up well. Many even looked much as they did in high school. I was really struck by it given that it runs counter to the general narrative that women lose their looks earlier than men.

I agree!!! I just went to my 20yr and there were only a handful of men who were not fat and bald. So many great looking fit women. I went home and drained my DH'S balls. He's in shape and has a HOT upperbody. He's one of the very few.

Written by a guy.

Also, his imaginary husband apparently skips leg day a lot.

Nope, but I take this accusation as a compliment.

And I love having his strong built shoulders leaning over my body. I appreciate his genetic fortune combined with hard work even more after the reunion.

So you think sounding like a gay dude at a glory hole is a positive trait in a wife?

Well, don't discourage her. Damn.

Don't forget how posters can look deep into the psyche of wveryone.

Or, just.plain old insecurity and fear talking.

One way to get a bunch of aging flabby ladies in an uproar...mention their husbands leaving them for a firm 24yr old dime.

Women like you give women a bad name. Feeling disappointed in your average lumpy middling wage earner of a husband and middle aged spread and feeling the need to take it out on anonymous straw man 20 year old girls. Nice.

LOL. Guess again. I'm much closer to 20 than to middle age- MUCH.
