Women: when did men stop noticing you?

I'm 42, married and get hit on by younger guys all the time. But my best friend says it's because I like to wear nice jewelry so I look "expensive" and think I'm a cougar and they want a sugar momma. lol

Agree with this. Am 45 and I still get noticed. The older I get the more effort I put into making sure that I look good. I dont care about the men (and usually ignore them anyway) but the confidence boost is just amazing.

When you say effort do you mean botox?

No, I mean dress nice, wear makeup and have a good attitude - no "resting bitch face". BTW, I am a black woman with combination/oily skin and great genes (my mother still has flawless skin) - I am years away from botox!

Botox is the new way to insult older women, didn't you know? Even if someone did use botox as part of their "effort" whats the big deal? If it makes someone feel confident whats your problem with it PP?

I agree with this so much. Attitude and confidence = attractiveness. I'm 42 and naturally pale - I've been religious with sun care, btw, I am no where near needing botox.

African American woman, 45 and I still get noticed especially when I wear dresses. Most older men will comment on the dress while checking out the other parts. BTW, I have really nice legs.

I have been told that I "clean up very well."

Almost 33 and I get noticed when I am without the child. It is still only a fraction of attention I got prior to pregnancy (at 30).

I'm 36 and went on a run this morning. As usual, I was noticed by plenty of construction workers, groundskeepers, and maintenance workers. Not so many business types. I'll take it.

And by the way, for being in there fifties, those two are still hot compared to most women at that age. By 55 most women are heavy set and have lost there good looks. I'm proud to say that my wife, without looking like some blond trophy wife, is still very attractive and gets noticed constantly.
