Women: when did men stop noticing you?

Just wait, things starting changing for me around 50. I am being noticed more and it is unnerving. Perhaps now we are all in the same boat and our personalities are shining through. Happily married for 20+ years- so not looking- maybe that is part of it.

It is funny (peculiar) because other women talk about becoming invisible at age 50 and I have found the opposite for me.

After second kid at 38. Face changed completely.

Around 28? But not sure if I'm oblivious or if it is because I am usually out with my kids or what. I'll take it though. I don't like being cat called.

I'm only 30 so it hasn't stopped yet and I'll be sad when it does!

This what confuses me about men. When I spend alot of time getting myself together (make-up/hair/clothes) and think I'm looking good, no one notices me or says a thing. Let me come out the house with just washed hair in a head band, no make-up, sweatpants and a slumpy t-shirt, sneakers....men notice me.

Just ask Drake.

I'm not sure why being noticed by strange men is so important? Same goes for men looking for attention!

I love being noticed. I carry all those compliments with me and remember them on bad days. I feel a lot of power in my femininity and a lot of pleasure in looking good. Beauty in any form is so rare and elusive that to have it, even for awhile, is one of life's great gifts.
