What age was you child when they started kindergarten?

Son: 4 years, turned 5 at end of September.

In his Algebra class this year, there were four kids with the same birthday as my son. Two were 13, two were 14.

That's not surprising. September is the biggest birthday month, and a lot of people don't send late-September kids on time.

DS = 4 years and 11 months. Mid-September birthday. We did opposite of red-shirting. He took an early admission test for K.
