Not op, but we're in NY now, and most districts in our area have December 1st or 31st as a cutoff, some are November. So a good number of kids start at 4. I think September cut offs are more common throughout the country, but there are pockets like this one with late dates. |

in Virginia, the cut off is Sept 30th, so kids could be 4 the first month of school. |
