Op--he's trying to save face, divulge as little as possible...he will not admit even a 1/4 of the truth unless he's willing to go into counseling.

Dh's kiss turned out to be getting a BJ in the car. It took weeks for that to come out..and after we started counseling.

Couldn't understand why he lied about being separated when it was just sex. But the encounter reminded me of just how powerful sex can be. There was a connection. Hence the confession, hooking up again, texting all through the day, his desire to romance me, etc.

Friday night. I didn't smell his breath. I had no reason to believe he didn't go to the gym.

What time does your gym close? His coming home at midnight seems like a reason.

My gym is in a very urban area and closes at 10pm.
