Also it makes it seem like maybe she's so into status that her husband felt he had to take on a different identity? Although I'd imagine they're both pretty complicit in it. |
If she is simply an observer, why not just say so? Idgi. |
This exactly...Google Sleuth here..It was when I found out that they had changed their name from Wezniak to Aldrich that I really started snooping. Plus, besides reading "Cheerful Money" I also had just read Mark Seals' book on "Clark Rockefeller" another fraud...by the way Aldrich is the middle name of Nelson Aldrich Rockefeller. So I was like - hmmmm - who the heck are these people behind this Daily Prep blog. (As I explained on the original thread, I did most of my google sleuthing about a year or two ago and reported my findings on GOMI but the thread was deleted because Clark complained as he has done again with Jeff the admin of this site.) Anyhow, if you don't care, don't worry about it..but I think it is very interesting. I am a curious person and a news junkie. I found the whole Clark Rockefeller story fascinating too. Maybe I was sort of doing my own investigative reporting...I should also mention that I have been a blog reader for 15 - 20 years - from way back when when blogs were brand new. So my love of blogs, my interest in New England prep culture and my love of investigative reporting and google led me to investigate the Aldriches (nee Wezniaks)... |
PP, your findings may not be appropriate here, but they certainly belong on GOMI. I am surprised your thread got taken down. I think your next recourse is Encyclopedia Dramatica. |
He posted under his former name not his new legal name |

I think that most people are pretty alarmed to discover how much information is available on the internet. Google your own name + intellius. Up will pop the names of your parents and spouse. These associations have been gleaned from records that I would not have imagined to be public.
If you purchase property in the US, maintaining your anonymity is only possible by setting up a corporation and buying through it, and even then some states may require a public record defining you as the owner of that corporation in some other database. Today's search engines pull all of that together. |
And once it's on ED, there is no removing it. Hope you get some sleep tonight, sleuth! |

+100 I wondered what the fuss was all about and googled her name. It took about 30 seconds to find this family. And the blog and everything else. they are pretty public on google. I am no google sleuth or stalker, nor did I start or repost this thread. So much of this is public. NOT the same person Jeff called a stalker. I think the info is out and not going back in... |
I thought her blog seemed very fake also. New money trying too hard. |
Again, you guys are welcome to set up your own blogs and publish all you want about whomever you want. But, it is not appropriate to use DCUM's anonymous posting privileges to produce exposes about named individuals. I am pretty sure that there is not a poster here who couldn't be exposed for some sort of hypocrisy in his life. If you are convinced otherwise, please provide me your full name and city of residence and will will put "Google Sleuth" on it stat. Muffy may well be a public figure, but her aunt certainly is not. Hence, I've just removed posts about her. My patience with this thread -- which was not in abundance to begin with -- is really near the end. Don't be surprised to find this thread no longer in existence before long. |
Jeff really should out OP. |
Mostly because the spectacle of OP's meltdown would be outrageous. |
Jeff, I don't think you should be called a coward, but I just googled Muffy Aldrich and got more than 300,000 hits. And that is not following all the google suggestions... ie, fake, real name etc ect. I think you might want to keep this thread in case there is anyone out there who does not understand that once you have a blog with many many readers, there are going to be privacy issues... |
